The Isle of Man borders continue to remain closed since 27 March 2020.
Non-Isle of Man residents who were seeking to enter the Isle of Man for travel reasons will be unable to do so at the moment.
For Non-Isle of Man residents who were seeking to permanently move to the Isle of Man to live or work prior to closing of its borders, it is now possible to apply for an exemption.
Individuals can only apply for an exemption if they are able to provide evidence that they have entered into a legally binding contract to take up employment, purchased property or signed a tenancy agreement. If exempted, individuals will have to follow any and all guidelines on COVID-19, including the current 14 day self-isolation period.
Please be aware that if you are granted exemption and provided that you are not displaying any symptoms of COVID-19 you will need to travel to the Island via specially designated transport.
If you are a non-Isle of Man resident with contractual obligations in the Isle of Man and seeking to permanently move to the island, you can apply for exemption here:
