The Home Office has introduced some changes to the pre-licence priority service for companies applying for sponsor licence.

The pre-licence priority service is optional for companies who wish to pay for a faster decision on their sponsor licence application.

Applicants previously applying was required to email the Home Office after submitting and paying for the sponsor licence application online. The applicant would have had to make an additional payment to request for the use of priority service of 10 working days.

From 21 June 2023, applicants can pay for the priority service at the same time whilst submitting the sponsor licence online application, making it a smoother service for both the applicant and the Home Office.

You will also be able to add the priority service option to any current application submitted, provided that the application is not currently in progress. You would be required to log back in the sponsor licence application, enter your credentials, and request for the priority service.
