Under Tier 5, India Young Professionals Scheme visa is specially designed for Indian citizens who are between 18 and 30 years old, obtained qualification at bachelor’s degree level or above, and have sufficient savings to support yourselves in the UK.

Those who want to apply the visa must enter the ballot system which will be opened at 2:30pm Indian Standard Time on 18 February 2023. You have to join the ballot online, the ballot system will be closed at 2:30pm Indian Standard Time on 2 March 2023. There are 2,400 visas available in the February ballot.

Successful entries will be notified and invited for applying a visa which allows you to study, live and work in the UK for at most 2 years, but the visa is unable to be extended or to include any family members on your application. You will be notified within 2 weeks of the ballot closing and you have to submit the application in 30 days after notification. Unsuccessful entries, on the other hand, cannot appeal the results and you may join the next ballot which is likely to be held in July.
